Pathum Thani is proud of the strong momentum of the “RANGSIT ESPORTS CHALLENGE Year 4,” which has invigorated the esports scene.
The Pathum Thani Esports Association organized the ROV RANGSIT ESPORTS CHALLENGE Year 4 tournament, which continued to receive strong support. Many local youth and gamers participated enthusiastically, helping to boost the economy and tourism in Pathum Thani province.
The Year 4 ROV RANGSIT ESPORTS CHALLENGE took place at the Zpotlight area on the ground floor of Future Park and The Mall Spell, with Police Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Trilup Thupkrajang, Mayor of Rangsit City, honored as the opening ceremony chairman.
Also attending the opening ceremony were Colonel Dr. Apithat Sorkan, President of the Pathum Thani Esports Association; Mr. Chayut Sinpoonpak, Deputy Mayor of Rangsit City; Mr. Jirapong Khumwong, Secretary to the Mayor; Mr. Anon Nunsuk, Secretary to the Mayor; and Mr. Chan Raksungnoen, Vice Chairman of the Municipal Council.
This event was organized by the Pathum Thani Esports Association in collaboration with Rangsit City Municipality, Future Park, and The Mall Spell for the fourth consecutive year to provide a platform for youth and esports enthusiasts to showcase their skills and productively spend their free time.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Trilup Thupkrajang, Mayor of Rangsit City, said that due to the positive response from last year’s event, the organizers decided to continue holding the competition into its fourth year.
The main purpose of the event is to encourage children, youth, and the public to use their free time beneficially, stay away from drugs, and develop their esports skills so that esports can advance and help develop communities at the subdistrict and district levels.
The competition also serves to stimulate the economy and tourism in Pathum Thani. We are very pleased to be part of supporting esports for the youth of Rangsit and Pathum Thani.
This competition included two categories: the ROV RANGSIT ESPORTS CHALLENGE with a total prize pool of 50,000 baht, and the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) competition with a total prize pool of 10,000 baht.
The Pathum Thani Esports Association set a rule requiring at least two players per team to be studying, residing, or working in Pathum Thani.
The results of the ROV RANGSIT ESPORTS CHALLENGE showed that the Rockstar Dream team won the championship,
claiming the first prize of 25,000 baht and gold medals. Second place went to the Aether team, which received 15,000 baht and silver medals, while third place was earned by Yorn Esports, awarded 10,000 baht and bronze medals.
In the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) final, competing for a total prize of 10,000 baht, the Aogiri (AG) team won the championship and a prize of 7,000 baht. The first runner-up was the Tenacity Academy team, which received 3,000 baht.
