Kiattisak Singhapong secured a top 7 position aiming for the podium in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup 2026 Mugello Round.
The third round of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup 2026, the Mugello Round, took place at Mugello Circuit, Italy, from 29 to 31 May. "Mai Q" Kiattisak Singhapong, rider number 85 and rising star from Honda Racing Thailand, delivered another strong performance by securing 7th place on the starting grid on 29 May.
Regarding "Mai Q" Kiattisak Singhapong's performance this season, the promising Thai rider earned a podium finish in 3rd place at the first race of the Jerez Round. He currently holds 34 points accumulated from the first two rounds, ranking 7th in the overall standings.
Recently, "Mai Q" Kiattisak Singhapong showed outstanding form in the practice sessions. In the first practice, the young Thai rider clocked 02:02.494 minutes, ranking 4th among 26 riders. In the second practice session, he improved further with a time of 02:01.439 minutes, moving up to 3rd place.
During the qualifying session to determine the starting grid, "Mai Q" Kiattisak Singhapong faced intense competition but managed to improve his lap time to 02:00.806 minutes, securing an impressive 7th place on the grid. The young Thai rider commented:
"I am quite satisfied with today's performance. The competition was very intense with all of us battling closely, and I expect the real races to be just as competitive. My bike is excellent, and I really like this circuit, so I am looking forward to the race a lot."
"Mai Q" Kiattisak Singhapong will compete in the first race on Saturday, 30 May at 21:50, and the second race on Sunday, 31 May at 13:35.
