Kiattisak Singhapong secured a top 7 position aiming for a podium finish at the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup 2026 Mugello round.
The third round of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup 2026 took place at Mugello Circuit in Italy from 29 to 31 May. “Mai Q” Kiattisak Singhapong, rider number 85 from Honda Racing Thailand, delivered a strong performance by securing the 7th starting grid position on 29 May.
This season, young Thai rider “Mai Q” Kiattisak Singhapong achieved a 3rd place podium finish at the first race of the Jerez round. He currently holds 34 points from the first two rounds, ranking 7th in the overall championship standings.
Recently, “Mai Q” Kiattisak Singhapong showed impressive form in practice sessions. In the first practice, he clocked 02:02.494 minutes, placing 4th among 26 riders. In the second practice, he improved further with a time of 02:01.439 minutes, moving up to 3rd position.
During qualifying to determine the starting order, “Mai Q” Kiattisak Singhapong faced intense competition but managed to further improve his time to 02:00.806 minutes, securing an excellent 7th place on the starting grid. The young Thai rider said:
“I’m quite satisfied with today’s performance. The competition was very intense, with all of us battling closely. I think the actual races will be just as competitive. My bike is excellent, and I really like this circuit, so I’m very much looking forward to the races.”
“Mai Q” Kiattisak Singhapong will race in the first event on Saturday, 30 May at 21:50, and the second race will take place on Sunday, 31 May at 13:35.
