Somkiat Chantra, a historic Thai motorcycle racer, aims to win his fifth consecutive title at the Suzuka 8 Hours 2026 Endurance World Championship.


On 29 May 2026, Honda HRC announced that "Kong" Somkiat Chantra will compete in the FIM Endurance World Championship event, the Suzuka 8 Hours 2026, held from 3 to 5 July 2026 at the Suzuka International Circuit in Japan. The Thai rider will team up with Takumi Tanahashi and Jonathan Rea.

Somkiat Chantra is a competitor in the 2026 Superbike World Championship for a factory team and has scored valuable points for the team. The popular Thai rider has developed his career with Honda from the start, achieving significant results in Moto3, Moto2, MotoGP, and World Superbike.
