Coach Tuk Praises Central Region 1 Swimming for Developing Rising Stars to National Team

The youth swimming championship battle begins! "Coach Tuk" praises Central Region 1 swimming for developing rising stars into the national team.

The Central Region 1 Youth Swimming Championship at Thammasat University Rangsit pool was vibrant, with over 750 athletes competing. "Coach Tuk" praised it as a platform that nurtures young talents towards the national team in the future.


On 30 May 2026 at the Aquatic Sports Center, Thammasat University Rangsit Campus, Mr. Thanawit Thosakul (Coach Tuk), Secretary-General of the Thailand Aquatic Sports Association, presided over the opening of the 2026 Central Region 1 Thailand National Swimming Championship.


During the opening ceremony, Thanawit Thosakul presented financial support for the event to Mr. Thanakorn Nueankamma, Chairman of Central Region 1 Swimming Sports. He also awarded performance shirts to outstanding Central Region 1 swimming coaches for 2025 and handed out medals to athletes who competed in the morning session.


"Coach Tuk," Mr. Thanawit Thosakul, Secretary-General of the Thailand Aquatic Sports Association, praised the excellent organization, noting the enthusiastic participation of youth athletes. He said it serves as a platform for young swimmers to test their skills, improve performance, and achieve qualifying times for the national championship, with many showing potential to advance to the national team in the future.


This year’s Central Region 1 Thailand National Swimming Championship attracted over 750 youth athletes from various clubs. It was held from 30 May to 1 June 2026 at the Thammasat University Rangsit Aquatic Sports Center and was open to the public free of charge.
