Honda Racing Thailand Fields Full Team to Pursue Podium Streak at ARRC 2026 Round 3 in Japan

Honda Racing Thailand is fielding its full team to continue chasing podium finishes at the third round of the 2026 Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) in Japan.  


Following their explosive performance at the home race, Round 2 held in early May in Thailand, Honda Racing Thailand brought joy and pride to Thai speed fans with victories and podiums in every category contested. They now prepare to compete abroad, aiming to continue their championship pursuit in the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship 2026, with Round 3 scheduled this weekend in Japan.


Starting with the Supersport 600cc class (SS600), "Mix" Thanach Laongpliu, known as The Next Successor, riding bike number 31, overcame challenges during the long lap to overtake rivals and win the home race. With 69 points accumulated, he sits second in the championship standings, just 3 points behind the leader. Meanwhile, teammate "Hi-Pec" Krisda Thanachot, riding number 18, holds 13th place with 16 points.


In the Asia Production 250cc class (AP250), "Fer" Panjaruj Jitvirulchat, on bike number 12, has become the latest fan favorite among Thai supporters, showing continuous improvement. At the recent home race, he secured a double podium with third place in Race 1 and second place in Race 2, ranking in the top 3 of the season championship with 62 points.


In the Asia Superbike 1000cc class (ASB1000), "Chip" Nakarin Athiratphuvapat, riding bike number 41 and the only Thai competitor this season, has faced challenges but continues to show progress. Most recently, he overtook rivals to claim third place on the podium at the home race, unlocking his first podium finish and earning 39 points, placing him fifth in the standings.


The FIM Asia Road Racing Championship 2026 Round 3 competition schedule includes practice sessions on Friday, 12 June, followed by qualifying to determine the starting grid. The first race final will take place on Saturday, 13 June, with the second race final on Sunday, 14 June 2026, at the Motegi Circuit in Japan.
