Honda Racing Thailand proudly secured a podium abroad as Thanach Laongpliu engaged in a thrilling battle in Race 2 of the 2026 Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) held in Japan.
Honda Racing Thailand confirmed its outstanding performance in overseas competition. Mix Thanach Laongpliu battled in the lead group, alternating with setting the best lap times, before leading the Thai flag onto the podium in third place in the Supersport 600cc (SS600) class during Race 2 of the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship 2026, Round 3, at Motegi Circuit, Japan.
In the Supersport 600cc (SS600) class, Mix Thanach Laongpliu, riding bike number 31, started from grid 6 and moved up past rivals to take the lead. He continuously fought within the winner's group, alternating with recording the fastest lap times, thrilling Thai speed fans before crossing the finish line in third place on the podium. Meanwhile, teammate Krittada Thanachot, known as Hipec, riding number 18, started from grid 12 and fought fiercely, overtaking competitors to finish in ninth place.
In the Asia Production 250cc (AP250) class, Fer Panjaruj Jitwirulchat, riding number 12, gained valuable experience in this important battle. Starting from grid 15, he fought fiercely within a large lead group of more than 20 riders, striving to climb up and earn championship points before finishing in 17th place.
