Ban Si Mum School and Accio from Hatyai Wichayalai Sombun Kukanya Triumph at Youth Muaythai Stage Dance Contest 2026

"Ban Si Mum School" teamed with the "Accio" team from Hatyai Wichayalai Sombun Kukanya to capture the championship at the Youth Muaythai Stage Dance Contest 2026.

The Military Sports Promotion Association (Thailand) successfully held the Youth Muaythai Stage Dance Contest 2026, a national-level event providing youth the opportunity to showcase creativity by blending Muaythai art with contemporary dance skills. This year, many youth teams enthusiastically competed, and the association recently announced the official results for both age categories.

In the 8-12 age category, first place was awarded to Ban Si Mum School (Thawatchai Rat Anusorn) from Nakhon Ratchasima Province, receiving a trophy and 50,000 baht prize. Following were Wat Kong Kaew School (Phad Kap Kaew) from Samut Prakan Province as first runner-up, and Ban Ao Krating School from Nakhon Pathom Province as second runner-up. Two consolation prizes went to Ban Lahan Na (Primary) School from Khon Kaen and Kirirat Muaythai from Kiritrathnikhom School in Surat Thani. Additionally, Kirirat Muaythai from Kiritrathnikhom School won the Popular Vote with an overwhelming 38,206 votes.

In the 13-18 age category, the championship went to the Accio team from Hatyai Wichayalai Sombun Kukanya School in Songkhla Province, earning 50,000 baht and an honorary trophy. The first runner-up was the SORAKIT MUAY THAI team from Nong Khae "Sorakit Pittaya" School in Saraburi Province, and the second runner-up was the RoseWarriors team from Suankularb Wittayalai Nonthaburi School in Nonthaburi Province. Consolation prizes were awarded to Ban Si Mum School (Thawatchai Rat Anusorn) from Nakhon Ratchasima and Suangsutthawittaya School from Suphanburi. The SORAKIT MUAY THAI team from Saraburi also captured the Popular Vote award with an impressive 111,400 votes.

To encourage all dedicated youth participants, the Military Sports Promotion Association (Thailand) awarded 5,000 baht each to 29 teams that did not win major prizes—12 teams in the 8-12 category, including Sam Chuk Muaythai Club and KHUHASAWAN JUNIOR, and 17 teams in the 13-18 category, such as Benjarais and KP MUAYTHAI DANCE. This competition not only revealed the remarkable potential of Thai youth but also served as a vital force in preserving and advancing Muaythai culture sustainably on the international stage.
