President of Thailand Billiards Association Congratulates Thai Disabled Snooker Team After Winning 4 World Championships

The President of the Thailand Billiards Sports Association congratulated the Thai disabled snooker team after they won 4 world championships at the World Disability Snooker Championship 2026.


On 22 Jun 2026 GMT+7, Mr. Sunthorn Jarumon, President of the Thailand Billiards Sports Association, presided over the award ceremony to honor and congratulate the Thai national disabled snooker team following their outstanding performance at the World Disability Snooker Championship 2026. The event was hosted by Thailand in Nakhon Ratchasima Province.


At this competition, the Thai athletes distinguished themselves by winning 4 world titles and earning medals in multiple categories, bringing international recognition to Thailand.


The list of awarded athletes includes:


World Champion, Gold Medal, Class WC 1


* Mr. Namphon Thongphusawan, known as “Beer Cyber”


World Champion, Gold Medal, Class WC 2


* Mr. Surasit Loisratakul, known as “Sit Muangkan”


World Champion, Gold Medal, Class AB 3


* Mr. Thanapon Siw, known as “Bom Ban Chang”


World Champion, Gold Medal, Class AB 5


* Mr. Songkiat Rehbankoh, known as “Pa Mahachai”


Additionally, the Thai athletes secured 2 bronze medals in the following categories:

This success was achieved under the guidance of “Coach Tum,” Mr. Surasak Weerapong, who trained and supervised the athletes, together with “Coach Thoon Pak Kret,” Mr. Withoon Surathamjanya, who closely planned training and prepared the team throughout the competition.


Moreover, internationally certified referees from the Thailand Billiards Sports Association were honored to officiate at this significant world championship, reflecting the global recognition of Thailand’s athletes, coaches, and referees.
