National Sports University Ang Thong Campus holds Wai Kru ceremony to open academic year 2026.
On Thursday, 25 June 2026, National Sports University Ang Thong Campus organized the Wai Kru ceremony (for general teachers, Muay Thai instructors, and Krabi Krabong teachers) and Bai Sri Su Kwan ritual for the 2026 academic year at the second-floor auditorium of the cafeteria. Associate Professor Suriyan Hua Hin, Vice President of the Ang Thong Campus, presided over the ceremony, joined by administrators, faculty, staff, and students participating enthusiastically.
The purpose of this event was to allow students to express gratitude and respect to their teachers who impart knowledge, to preserve and maintain the fine Thai customs and traditions, and to boost morale and encouragement among students.
The event featured the Wai Kru ceremony, Wai Kru for Muay Thai and Krabi Krabong teachers, the Bai Sri Su Kwan ritual, and a scholarship award ceremony. The atmosphere was warm, respectful, and memorable, reflecting the strong bond between teachers and students, which is a fundamental pillar of education.
