
“Bang Mad” unveils the new executive committee of the International Muaythai Sport Association, with prominent figures from the Muay Thai community joining forces to develop the sport internationally.
“Bang Mad,” Samart Maluleem, president of the International Muaythai Sport Association, introduced the new executive committee, which includes diverse members from the Muay Thai world. Among them are famous promoter “So Ae Jitmuangnon,” Suntaree Lohapuech, head of the Rodtang Jitmuangnon camp, and former Thai national boxer Worapot Petchkhoom, a silver medalist at the 2004 Olympic Games. Meanwhile, Chada Thaiset, former Deputy Minister of Interior, remains as the association’s vice president, fully supporting the development of Muay Thai to reach international levels.
Samart Maluleem, president of the International Muaythai Sport Association (IMSA), revealed that the association has appointed a new executive committee. Meechai Inwood, Deputy Governor of the Sports Authority of Thailand and registrar for Bangkok sports associations, signed the official registration documents for the new committee on 23 June 2026. This appointment replaced several previous committee members to better suit the association’s needs and to collaboratively develop IMSA.
Mr. Samart said the new executive committee includes a broad range of Muay Thai figures, such as Major Worapot Petchkhoom, former Olympic silver medalist from Athens 2004; So Ae Jitmuangnon (Ms. Suntaree Lohapuech), head of Rodtang Jitmuangnon camp; Natthan Phothichai, head of Nat Kin Pla camp; and Thongchai Maluleem, head of Luk Klongtan camp, who will serve as committee members and competition organizers. Additionally, Chaiwiwat Chanasit, head of Choo Thang Duan camp, will serve as the steward.
“Bang Mad” added that Mr. At Nana, a prominent businessman, will serve as the fifth vice president. Meanwhile, returning executive members include Chada Thaiset, MP for Uthai Thani and former Deputy Minister of Interior, continuing as the first vice president, and “Sia Boat Petchyindee,” Mr. Tachapon or Natdech Wachirattanawong, as the fourth vice president. All members are committed to supporting and advancing Muay Thai internationally in line with the association’s objectives.

At Nana, Fifth Vice President; 7. Sumet Suetsattabongkot (Mit Nakorn), Sixth Vice President; 8. Suwit (Lertthanakulwat) (Sit Kuan Im/Ph. Thawatchai), Secretary; 9. Supat Laophiangsak (Puenratana), Deputy Secretary; 10. Sorawit Promphadungcheep, Treasurer.
11. Chaiwiwat Chanasit, Steward; 12. Supasak Ngaoprasertwong, Registrar and Academic Affairs; 13. Sumet Suwanphrom, Public Relations; 14. Jak Jamikorn (Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Nicaragua in Thailand), Committee Member and International Affairs; 15. Surachai Yindeedchat (Berkrit Pinsinchai), Committee Member and Muay Thai Art Conservation; 16. Major Worapot Petchkhoom, Committee Member and Competition Organizer; 17. Thongchai Maluleem, Committee Member and Competition Organizer; 18. Natthan Phothichai, Committee Member and Competition Organizer; 19. Suntaree Lohapuech, Committee Member and Competition Organizer. The committee will serve a four-year term from 23 June 2026 to 23 June 2030.
