Thai Jet Ski Team Dominates Gold Medals at Bulgaria Grand Prix 2026

The Thai Jet Ski team exploded with hot form, sweeping all gold medals at the Bulgaria Grand Prix 2026. Kasidit Teeraprateep created a miracle by narrowly edging out his rivals to claim the world crown.

The world championship points race for the opening season of the WGP1 Waterjet World Series 2026 kicked off grandly at Sarafovo Beach in Burgas, Bulgaria, from 10-12 July 2026, with over 200 top riders from 32 countries worldwide competing.

Championships Day One decided winners in every class. Thai riders competed in multiple categories as follows:

In the amateur and semi-professional class (WGP#2), the final moto of the EXPERT SKI GP category saw twin sensation #T30 Thanawit Moli, despite holding a perfect 120 points, continue his hot streak by not allowing others to take first place. He seized the lead from the start and maintained it to the finish line, achieving a perfect game with a full 180 points and securing the second trophy for the Thai Jet Ski team at the Bulgaria Grand Prix 2026, following his teammate Pai's win yesterday.

The young Thai wonder “Mio” #T26 Sasina Piwngam, the current World Series champion in WOMEN RUNABOUT 1100 STOCK, began her title defense brightly this year by delivering a perfect game—winning every moto and collecting a full 180 points to become the undefeated champion of the Bulgaria Grand Prix 2026. This marked the third trophy for the Thai Jet Ski team in Bulgaria.

In the professional class (WGP#1), the final moto saw “Thunder Twins” Saint #T30 Thanawit Moli and Zik #T4 Thanawin Moli finishing first and second respectively. #T4 Thanawin Moli scored a perfect 173 points, while #T30 Thanawit Moli had 166 points, resulting in a 1-2 podium finish for Thailand in the PRO-AM SKI STOCK category in Bulgaria.

Two top Thai riders “Champion of Power” #T142 Kasidit Teeraprateep, former 2024 World Series champion, and #26 Pittipong Kiattikomolkul faced off in the final moto. #T142 Kasidit Teeraprateep drove aggressively to finish first, earning a perfect 180 points and securing the PRO-AM RUNABOUT 1100 OPEN title at the Bulgaria Grand Prix 2026. #26 Pittipong Kiattikomolkul scored 159 points to take second place on the podium.

Another super highlight was the PRO RUNABOUT GP class, the largest and fastest sit-down jet ski category in the world. In Moto 3, #5 Gyorgy Kasza, a fierce top rider from Hungary, led ahead of French rider #4 Francois Medori, but unfortunately Medori's craft broke down before the finish line, allowing Kasza to claim first place. Thai rising star #T142 Kasidit Teeraprateep followed in second place.

In the final moto, #4 Francois Medori and #5 Gyorgy Kasza led in first and second positions respectively, finishing in that order. Meanwhile, #T142 Kasidit Teeraprateep started fourth but fought back late to overtake Estonian rider #77 Mattias Siimann, finishing third. This shifted the overall standings, with #T142 Kasidit Teeraprateep totaling 207 points—just one point ahead of #5 Gyorgy Kasza's 206—claiming the Bulgaria Grand Prix 2026 championship in an incredible victory.
