Building on continued success, the Junior Ballers League (JB League) youth basketball platform, committed to raising standards to an international level for the 2026 season, has successfully launched and held competitions for the JV division (ages 10-11). Most recently, it proceeded with an Orientation Day for the V division (ages 12-13) to prepare and lay a strong foundation ahead of the exciting competition starting on 1 August.
The event was honored by key sponsors and partners who support the Thai youth sports ecosystem, warmly encouraging the athletes. The venues hosting competitions for this division include DBS Denla British School International and DLTS International School, both fully prepared to welcome the young basketball players.
Kritikorn Thanamahamongkol, Chairman of the Junior Ballers League competition committee, spoke about the league’s next steps: “After witnessing the energy and determination of the 10-11 age group, moving up to the V division for 12-13 year olds marks a stage where physical development and sports skills accelerate significantly. Thus, we place great importance on the Orientation Day.”
“Not only does it clarify the more rigorous rules and competition standards, but it also prepares athletes’ mindset so they can perform professionally, understand teamwork, and uphold sportsmanship—core values that JB League has always embraced.”
Pavitra Tatsawichai, Chief Executive Officer of Big One Group and the Title Sponsor, shared their commitment: “Big One Group firmly believes that youth are the most important foundation. Supporting the JB League is not just about sponsoring a competition stage but about creating opportunities and inspiration for the children.”
“Seeing the 12-13 year-old athletes gather at today’s Orientation only strengthens our confidence that Thailand’s basketball scene has a bright future. Our brand is ready to support and stand by every young player to help them fully realize their dreams.”
Nattaya Jarumaneeroj, Chief Operating Officer of Ego Sport International Co., Ltd., added about their involvement: “Ego Sport is very pleased to be part of developing youth basketball. Providing standardized uniforms and equipment helps boost confidence and performance for the athletes.”
“Our brand specifically designs and produces uniforms tailored to the movement needs of this age group, enabling them to fully showcase their potential on the court and grow into quality athletes in the future.”
