
25 July 2026 – The 3x3 basketball Thailand Championship "3x3 UTCC Championship 2026" at the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce ignited excitement as 48 top youth teams from around the country, selected from 300 applicants through regional qualifiers, competed for the royal trophy presented by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The champions were Nonthaburi VAMPIRE A in the under-18 boys' category, NK from Wat Noi Noppakun School in the under-18 girls', and SK Chubby Wolves from Suankularb School in the under-16 boys'. Winners received the royal trophy, cash awards, and certificates. This tournament also recorded points in the FIBA 3x3 Ranking system, which is key to increasing opportunities for Thai national youth teams to qualify for the Youth Olympic Games.
The event was honored by Dr. Phot Aramwattananon, Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and President of the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce; Associate Professor Dr. Thanawat Polvichai, the university president; Mr. Nipon Chavalitmontri, President of the Basketball Association of Thailand; alongside competition sponsors and university executives, all attending in large numbers.
The Thailand finals brought together teams placing first to third in regional qualifiers nationwide, divided into three categories: under-18 boys, under-18 girls, and under-16 boys. The finals were held on Saturday, 25 July 2026, at the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce Auditorium, Bangkok. The results were as follows:
In the under-16 boys' category, the champion was SK Chubby Wolves from Suankularb School, representing the Samut Prakan qualifier, defeating Kob Academy A from Rayong qualifier with a score of 15 to 12.
In the under-18 girls' category, the champion was NK from Wat Noi Noppakun School, representing Rayong qualifier, defeating AYR from Ratchaburi Municipal Demonstration School, also from Rayong qualifier, with a score of 21 to 16.
In the under-18 boys' category, the champion was Nonthaburi VAMPIRE A, representing Samut Prakan qualifier, defeating Kob Academy from Rayong qualifier with a score of 18 to 13.
This tournament was principally supported by TCP Group, Sponsor electrolyte drinks, Government Savings Bank, the Government Lottery Office, Thai President Foods Public Company Limited, Singha Corporation Company Limited, and Molten (Thailand) Company Limited, together with the Basketball Association of Thailand, the Thai Chamber of Commerce, and the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce.
