Red Bull Launches Red Bull Power Race, a New Challenging Fitness Racing Event, Open for 500 Participants

6 Aug 2026 – Red Bull, the leading energy drink brand under the TCP business group, launches an energizing sporting event for Thais called Red Bull Power Race, the world’s first new form of fitness racing. Under the concept "The Fastest Race The Greatest Rush," it is the fastest track pushing the limits of challenge, awakening the power of fitness lovers to test their speed, strength, and endurance to break their own boundaries. Registration is limited to only 500 participants nationwide to compete on the real racecourse on 17 Oct 2026 at Bangkok Innovation Central Station. The event will culminate with the grand Red Bull Power Race International Final in Bangkok on 18 Oct 2026. Registration is open now via https://www.redbullsport.com/th.

Amid the growing popularity of active lifestyles and exercise, Red Bull Power Race is designed as the fastest competition track, pushing the limits with a challenge accessible to all. It welcomes fitness enthusiasts of all levels—runners, fitness fans, or regular exercisers—seeking a new challenge to prove themselves. It requires no specialized equipment or complex skills, only determination, physical power, and mental strength to push beyond one’s limits—not just to beat the clock, but to discover how far one can go.

Every competitor must complete four laps of 400 meters running, alternating with push-ups, sit-ups, and squats stations—men performing 40 reps per station, women 30 reps—aiming to clear all stations and cross the finish line as fast as possible. The simple format highlights individual athlete differences, including pacing, energy management, and the ability to push on when the body reaches its limit.

Red Bull Power Race is designed to create exciting moments for both competitors and spectators, with a format allowing viewers to closely follow every move of the racers—from the start, through each station, to the final sprint to the finish line.

Ms. Supasita Kraisi, Global Marketing Chief Executive at TCP Group, said, “Red Bull believes sports connect people and unlock personal potential. Red Bull Power Race is created to be accessible, easy to understand, and exciting for both competitors and viewers. It measures not just physical strength but also determination under pressure and the courage to push beyond personal limits. We hope this competition inspires everyone to participate.”

Besides being a new competition format, Red Bull Power Race has been developed into a regional sports platform connecting competitors across Southeast Asia through a shared challenge. Each country’s national qualifying round serves as a gateway for athletes to represent their country on the international stage in Bangkok, allowing participants to step from national events to make history in Red Bull Power Race’s inaugural season.

From 500 applicants across Thailand, only the top 24—12 men and 12 women—will earn the right to represent Thailand, proving themselves and proudly taking the country’s name to the regional stage at the Red Bull Power Race International Final. The Thai representatives will compete in Bangkok on 18 Oct 2026 against top athletes from Malaysia, Myanmar, Indonesia, and Thailand, making history in the first-ever Red Bull Power Race final.

Mr. Sigrid Myker, Project Director of Red Bull Power Race, said, “Red Bull Power Race uses basic exercises everyone knows—running, push-ups, sit-ups, and squats. This simplicity is the charm of the race since no complex equipment or technical barriers limit participation. On the course, athletes must combine personal race strategies and efficient physical energy use to achieve the best possible time.”

Be part of the world’s first new fitness racing competition and compete for a chance to represent Thailand internationally. Registration is open now at a fee of 500 baht per person via https://www.redbullsport.com/th. Secure your spot for the race on 17 Oct 2026 at Bangkok Innovation Central Station, then join athletes from across Southeast Asia to make history at the Red Bull Power Race International Final in Bangkok on 18 Oct 2026.
