The latest update on the Asian Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan: Thai powerlifters continue training according to the coaches' program, focusing on the starting lifts. Confirmed competition categories show that Thanodom Rakchan, in the male youth 55 kg category A, will be the first Thai athlete to compete on 7 August 2026 at 16:00 local time (18:00 Thai time).

Team manager Navy Captain Petchkasem Rataporn stated he emphasized that everyone should give their best as trained and maintain focus during competition. Since many are participating internationally for the first time, excitement is natural, so continuous encouragement is essential.
