The 2026 MotoGP Round 12, the British Grand Prix, is set to take place from 7-9 August, with qualifying concluded last Saturday under the watchful eyes of motorsport fans worldwide.
This weekend, "Mai Kew" Kiattisak Singhapong, a rising Thai star, earned a golden opportunity from Honda Team Asia to compete in the Moto3 World Championship for the first time, riding bike number 85, steadily improving his speed throughout practice sessions.
In Moto3 qualifying, the Thai rider surged to 23rd on the grid with a lap time of 2 minutes 12.209 seconds, starting the race from the 8th row, giving him a good chance to earn points this weekend at Silverstone. Meanwhile, his Indonesian teammate, Veda Pratama, riding bike number 9, will start from 16th on the grid.
The British Grand Prix main races will be held on Sunday, 9 August, starting with MotoGP at 19:00, followed by Moto3 at 20:30, Thai time.
