
Veteran rider Nakarin Athiratphuvapat secured 4th place in the first race of the Asia Road Racing 2026 Round 5.
The FIM Asia Road Racing Championship 2026 (ARRC) Round 5 took place at Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia. "Chip" Nakarin Athiratphuvapat from Honda Racing Thailand battled both challenging weather and Asia's top competitors with honor in the premier Asia Superbike 1,000cc (ASB1000) class.
After finishing 10th in Friday’s practice sessions, "Chip" Nakarin Athiratphuvapat and his bike number 41 significantly improved during Saturday morning’s qualifying, climbing to 6th place before heavy rain poured down again.
When Race 1 started, the competition was fierce from the very first moment. "Chip" Nakarin Athiratphuvapat drew on all his experience to fiercely contest against the elite riders, battling closely until the very last drop of sweat, ultimately crossing the finish line in 4th place.
