“Gatherground x Baller Bangkok” launches a Wellness & Sports community to engage health enthusiasts and make Sundays meaningful.
The inaugural activities featured yoga and Mat Pilates, a Talk Session with “Dr. Dao,” and an Ice Bath event, with health partners, influencers, and celebrities adding excitement.
Gatherground, a Sunday activity community, has teamed up with Baller Bangkok, a comprehensive football academy and performance center, to introduce a new Wellness & Sports Community under the concept Move • Eat • Learn • Connect • Chill.
This collaboration is led by “Khun Yak” Jitakorn Srikamkruea, CEO of Main Stand Thailand; Jitkan Srikamkruea; Piradee Raktong, founder of Gatherground; and “Lady Nam” Anarin Wongakarpattana, co-founder of Gatherground and Baller Bangkok Wellness, all committed to creating a space where everyone can spend their holidays meaningfully through health care, learning, and positive activities.
Jitakorn Srikamkruea said that as people seek meaningful weekend activities that fit their lifestyles, the “Gatherground” platform and community was created as a free-form space offering diverse experiences to enhance participants’ life skills across multiple dimensions. Activities are designed to match people’s interests and lifestyles at different times, aiming to meet current needs promptly. The main target is working adults looking for weekend activities that enrich body, mind, and new experiences, while remaining open to participants of all ages.
A key feature that sets Gatherground apart is its role as a “connector” that curates valuable activities led by specialists, ensuring participants gain not only experiences but also knowledge and friendships, rather than just temporary involvement.
Piradee Raktong explained that Gatherground is more than a fitness community; it connects sports and wellness activities with workshops and talk sessions. Each event invites experts from various fields to share knowledge and experiences that participants can apply in daily life.
Activities rotate regularly, including yoga, Mat Pilates, city runs, pickleball, tennis, golf, football, as well as workshops on nutrition, body recovery, mental health, and balanced living, providing members with fresh experiences each time.
The first event, "Gatherground 1st Meet," held on Sunday, 6 September, attracted artists, actors, news anchors, and influencers such as "Maprang" Wirakarn Saneetantikul, "Yui" Chamaiporn Henprasert, "Opal" Natcha Senabutr (Opal All in), Kuldet Thirachanon (Got Gunner), "Pui" Priyaporn Thongsuk (Ah Muay Man U), "Oi Oi" Salinattha Khumpanied, and "Beauty" Jenkittipitcha Onhwanwarakit with "Yamroll" Pimracha Techawijitra—two angelic runners—along with many health enthusiasts enthusiastically participating.
The event began with a Mat Pilates class taught by instructor Sai, a Certified Yoga Teacher & Mat Pilates Instructor from Baller Bangkok, guiding participants on proper body alignment, movement control, and core muscle use.
A highlight was the “Talk with Dr. Dao” session, featuring Dr. Chattdao Jangwangkor, a family medicine specialist and expert in anti-aging and health restoration medicine, who shared knowledge on holistic self-care and balancing health in daily life.
During the Talk Session, guests included Julalak Orpanichari (Beam) and Suchaya Dechipiratmongkol (Cherry), co-founders of Humblebeet, a sponsor that provided products and souvenir bags for attendees to take home, promoting the concept of internal health care through diverse, appropriate nutrition.
Humblebeet products are 100% natural vegetable and fruit superfood smoothies, blended without separating fiber to retain nutrients, enhanced with superfoods like chia and flax seeds, without added sugar, water, ice, sweeteners, or chemicals.
Additionally, support came from Active, a yoga and workout apparel brand encouraging everyone to enjoy and feel confident in their movements, along with various health and lifestyle partners contributing vibrancy to the event.
Another key activity was led by Baller Football Academy, sharing football training knowledge and experience with attendees. Led by David Cuerva Barroso, CEO of Baller Football Academy, and rising Thai League footballer Denis Murillo, they shared insights on physical preparation, muscle care, and recovery after exercise.
At the event, Baller also hosted a Recovery Booth featuring Ice Bath Recovery activities, allowing participants to experience body recovery methods and learn how to care for and prepare their bodies after workouts. This applied football and athlete performance development expertise to general fitness enthusiasts and health-conscious individuals.
Lady Nam, Anarin Wongakarpattana, spoke about the community’s concept:
“We want Sundays to be more than just rest days. We want everyone to come back to take care of themselves, move their bodies, learn about health, try new activities, and meet like-minded friends. Whether alone, with friends, or loved ones, everyone can be part of this community.”
“Gatherground aims to be a community connecting health, sports, knowledge, experience, and friendship, so everyone leaves with happiness, positive energy, and inspiration to start the new week.”
