The grand finale of the "Toyota-W GP One Waterjet Pro Tour Thailand 2026" was spectacularly held at the CSC Water Sport Pond near Pantai Norasingh Shrine in Samut Sakhon Province, marking the decisive championship battle.
On 14 Sep 2026 GMT+7, the prestigious closing ceremony was chaired by Mr. Srisak Watthanaprommongkol, President of the Samut Sakhon Sports Association. Also attending were Mr. Watthana Daengmanee, Mayor of Pantai Norasingh; Mr. Prachya Sapapong, Vice Rector of the National Sports University, Samut Sakhon Campus; Police General Detnarong Suttichanbancha, President of the Jet Ski Sports Association of Thailand; and Mrs. Jiraporn Kanjanapitak, Deputy Secretary General of the same association, who warmly welcomed all. The professional highest-class WGP#1 competition in four major classes then exploded with thrilling action on the water.
1.) PRO-AM RUNABOUT 1100 OPEN: “Boy” Suphatat Futrakul (#45), known as the "King of 1100 Open," from team 45 MAXIMA YAMAHA TEAM PAW, a five-time consecutive Thai champion and three-time World Cup winner, decisively erased the disappointment from the Phayao round. Delivering a masterclass performance, he achieved a "perfect game" with a full 180 points, clinching the double championship for the "GP of Samut Sakhon 2026" and setting a record by securing his 6th Thai championship title in grand style.
2.) PRO-AM SKI GRAND PRIX (the fastest professional standing jet ski class): A dramatic shock unfolded when Akin Niphatjaroen (#639) from RIVAL FACTORY RACING, the top favorite leading in points, suffered an engine problem and could not compete in the final moto. This opened the door for the lightning twin brothers, "Twin Moli"—Thanawin (#T4) and Thanawich Moli (#T30) from FLAMINGO JET SKI TEAM—who were tied at 113 points to battle head-to-head. Thanawin (#T4) surged ahead at the holeshot and maintained the lead to the finish, winning the double championship for the Samut Sakhon event and capturing his first-ever Thai championship title for the 2026 season impressively.
3.) SPORT GP (the most agile semi-sitting/standing jet ski class): "Jeng" Theerapat Meechai (#T9) lived up to his name by scoring 173 points to claim the "GP of Samut Sakhon 2026" championship. Meanwhile, "Posh" Keeratikorn Piwang (#T8) from YAMAHA WAVE RUNNER THAILAND x MRC POS PZ SHOP SAMUT SAKHON, the 2023 Thai champion, leveraged his experience and points accumulated over three prior rounds to reclaim the 2026 Thai championship title on his home turf.
4.) The highlight of the day: PRO RUNABOUT 2000 GP (the fastest and most powerful sitting jet ski class): "Poon" Permpol Theerapatpanich (#T79) from SIAM SEADOO RACING TEAM BY DYNAVOLT, the defending champion, returned to unbeatable form. He powered his jet ski to a "perfect game," sweeping victories in every moto to capture the double championship for the "GP of Samut Sakhon 2026" and claim his 3rd Thai championship title, perfectly concluding the 2026 season.
