
A total of 1,475 teams from 77 provinces are preparing to compete in the Prime Minister’s Youth Cup (PMYC) U15 volleyball district rounds nationwide on 17 September. The aim is to select male and female champion teams to advance to the provincial level.
The "Prime Minister’s Youth Cup" (PMYC) project, driven by Minister of Tourism and Sports, Mr. Surasak Pancharoenworakul, organizes pilot sporting events such as football and volleyball to provide youth opportunities to progress toward becoming future national team athletes.
For volleyball, competitions are held for under-15 male and female teams. Schools nationwide are invited to enter teams starting at the district level to select representatives for provincial, regional, and national championship rounds.
So far, a total of 1,475 teams have been officially registered, including 619 male teams and 856 female teams. At the district level nationwide, two teams per district—one male and one female—will be selected to advance to the provincial rounds.
The competition schedule is as follows:
District-level rounds: 17–30 September 2026
Provincial rounds: 7–14 October 2026
Regional rounds: 24 October–2 November 2026
National finals: 9–27 November 2026
