- Team B (Wutthinan Kamsano, Krisanapong Nantakot, Thanapon Sapyen) lost 0-2 sets: 13-15, 10-15.
This caused the Thai national team to miss out on their 8th consecutive men's sepak takraw gold medal at the Asian Games, after dominating the event since 1998, winning in 1998, 2002, 2006, 2010, 2014, 2018, and 2022.
Meanwhile, the Malaysian men's sepak takraw team secured their first Asian Games gold medal in 28 years.
