Somkiat Chantra, the historic Thai rider, is set to compete fully in the World Superbike Championship Round 10 at the Cremona Circuit in Italy.
On 25 Sep 2026 GMT+7, the World Superbike Championship 2026 Round 10, known as the Ikma Italian Round, is scheduled from 25-27 September at the Cremona Circuit in Italy. This race is a key event for development for 'Kong' Somkiat Chantra, Thai rider number 35 from the Honda HRC factory team, along with his British teammate Jake Dixon, number 96. They have arrived at the circuit to prepare for this weekend's competition.
Somkiat Chantra and Dixon, along with their team Honda HRC, conducted a one-day test at the Cremona Circuit on 10 September to gather setup details and adapt to the track. However, they faced challenging weather conditions due to continuous rain during the testing.
'Kong' Somkiat Chantra said, "Cremona is a great and fun track to ride. I have ridden here before on a production bike, which was a very good experience. I look forward to starting the race weekend and hope to perform at my best. I invite fans to come support and cheer us on."
Somkiat Chantra will officially practice on Friday, 25 September, then participate in the Superpole qualifying round on Saturday, 26 September, to determine the starting grid. The first race will take place the same day at 20:30 Thailand time. On Sunday, 27 September, the Superpole race is scheduled for 16:10, followed by the second race at 20:30 Thailand time.
