They truly delivered an outstanding performance.
The Thai water racing team competed in the second round of the world championship points series, the “WGP#1 Waterjet World Series 2026.”
Also known as the legendary event “SBT IJSBA World Finals 2026,” the 45th edition of the “America Grand Prix 2026.”
The intense competition took place from 8-11 October 2026 at Red Rock Watercraft in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, USA.
More than 250 top-level jet ski athletes from 32 countries worldwide participated in this contest.
This year, the Jet Ski Association of Thailand, under the leadership of Jiraporn Kanjanapitak as team manager and secretary general, returned to send the Thai jet ski team overseas to compete after a break last year.
The Thai jet ski team produced an exceptional performance, proudly claiming 12 world championship titles (gold medals).
Notably, “The Powerful Champion” Kasidit Teeraprateep, a dedicated Thai national athlete, was in top form, winning 3 world championships by himself.
The highlight was the PRO RUNABOUT GP class championship, the fastest and most powerful sit-down jet ski category, at the “America Grand Prix 2026.”
This made Kasidit the second Thai rider in 20 years to win the giant sit-down class, following the legendary Thai jet ski racer Chok Uthit Moli, who achieved this in 2009.
He also secured world titles in the PRO-AM RUNABOUT 1100 OPEN and PRO-AM RUNABOUT LIMITED classes.
Meanwhile, “Nong Poipoi” Primros Khunsa, heir to “Oil” Atthapon Khunsa, a veteran Thai jet ski champion, performed brilliantly as well.
She captured three world championship trophies: NOVICE RUNABOUT STOCK, AMATEUR RUNABOUT REC LITE, and AMATEUR WOMEN RUNABOUT 1100 STOCK classes.
The other six world champions at the “America Grand Prix 2026” were: Vithawin Wimutikorn, champion of NOVICE RUNABOUT STOCK;

Somkiat Lalert, champion of AMATEUR RUNABOUT ENDURANCE;
