The official launch of the "Artist FC" football stadium was held with a 10 million baht budget, including an academy training center on Sukonthasawat Road near the Ramindra Expressway. A large team of artists, actors, singers, and entrepreneurs joined to contribute to social causes. The long-term vision is to develop it into a "sports entertainment" hub combining sports, music, and art in one place.
On 19 Oct 2026 GMT+7, Mr. Pongsakorn Nakwichian, Executive Director of Artist Football Training Camp, along with partners such as Mr. Sarayut Thamarungreung, Director of K.Pam Production Food Co., Ltd., Mr. Amornpon Rungruji, Managing Director of Artist FC, and Mr. Natthawat Nadpobsuk, Team Manager of Artist FC, jointly chaired the press conference launching the "ARTIST FC FOOTBALL TRAINING CAMP" and the academy training center. This facility supports youth players aged 8-14 for training camps. The event took place on 19 Oct at Artist FC's football stadium on Sukonthasawat Road near the Ramindra Expressway, with many distinguished guests and figures from the Thai football community attending.
"Big Tae," Mr. Pongsakorn, revealed that this football team was formed by businesspeople, artists, actors, and singers who share a passion for football. They originally came together several years ago on the program "Idol League" and have since regularly played football to support social causes. Eventually, the whole team agreed on the idea that they should have their own football stadium to avoid traveling to rent fields elsewhere.
They then found this football stadium, which was formerly the training ground of the BC Tero club in the Thai League. It is fully equipped and centrally located with convenient access. Before finalizing agreements, they became the owners of this stadium by investing 10 million baht to renovate it. Their goal is to transform this stadium into a "sports entertainment" complex covering several rai of land. The team includes many artists, actors, and singers, making their human resources diverse and strong across professions, including businesspeople, to collaborate on benefiting society and the community in the future.
Beyond the internationally standard football stadium, they also opened a comprehensive "academy" training center, intensively supervised by "Coach Mai" Phanupong Wongsa, Director of Artist FC and former national player, and "Coach Ko" Datsakorn Thonglao, Academy Director. They bring their experience as former national and professional players to impart knowledge to children and youth interested in football development to reach national team levels. Additionally, there is a collaboration plan with Bangkok Metropolitan Administration to invite top football clubs from Japan and South Korea to train and practice with their youth in Thailand. They have a full team including management, professional coaching staff, and scouts experienced in the Thai League, which enabled the official launch today.
Mr. Amornpon stated that everyone already loves football, which brought them together to create positive social activities. Besides sports, they also offer music and art for everyone to immerse in, forming a family with the "Artist" team. They believe this will be a new dimension for a football stadium with full services, ready to support parents and children interested in football. If any youth player shows outstanding talent, they will support their advancement to club and national team levels.
Meanwhile, "Coach Mai" Phanupong said training is divided into three parts: 1. progressing to club-level players, 2. developing professional footballers, and 3. academy training to nurture children into good footballers in the future. Drawing from lifelong experience in football, he will share knowledge and skills to give youth in the camp a chance to pursue the sport they love. Building young talent takes time and providing opportunities is most important.
Finally, "Coach Ko" Datsakorn Thonglao expressed admiration and thanks to the "Artist" football team executives who share his passion for football. From casual football games for exercise, they have progressed to managing a football stadium and academy worth 10 million baht. He is ready and eager to pass on knowledge to interested children. Their teaching goes beyond football skills to include social coexistence, discipline, and perseverance through challenges. He believes those who complete training at this camp will become good footballers in the future. He invites parents with children interested in football to enroll at "Artist Academy," where specialized coaches provide one-on-one training.
