On 12 Jan 2025 GMT+7, the 104th Japan National High School Soccer Tournament final took place, where "Poom" Poomrape Siribunyakul, goalkeeper for Thailand U17, guarded the net for Kashima Gakuen against Kamimura Gakuen.

In the 19th minute of the first half, Kamimura Gakuen sent a long ball into the penalty area. Number 11 shot, but Poomrape saved it. The ball then reached Hajime Hidaka, who scored with a left-footed shot.

In the 31st minute, Kamimura Gakuen pressed for a 2-0 lead. Kouta Tokumura attempted his first goal in the tournament, but Poomrape expertly controlled the situation and successfully saved the penalty.

In the second half, at 45+2 minutes, Yuta Sasaki scored a closing goal to help Kamimura Gakuen secure a 3-0 win over Kashima Gakuen.

Kamimura Gakuen claimed the championship before 60,142 spectators, while Kashima Gakuen, led by Poomrape Siribunyakul, finished as runners-up.
