On 14 Jan 2026 GMT+7, the ASEAN Club Championship 2025/26 Group B match between Svay Rieng (Cambodia) and True Bangkok United (Thailand) is scheduled for 29 Jan at 19:00 GMT+7.
Originally, the match was set to take place at Morodok Techo Stadium in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. However, due to the ongoing unrest along the Thailand-Cambodia border with no clear end in sight, safety concerns arose. Consequently, the "Angels" have confirmed with the organizers that they will not travel to Cambodia for the game.
The organizers are now seeking a neutral venue and are in urgent discussions to finalize it quickly to avoid affecting broadcast rights sold across ASEAN and Thailand. Thairath Sport, which holds the rights, must also broadcast this key match.
Currently, Bangkok United sits 5th in Group B with one draw, two losses, and one point. Svay Rieng ranks 3rd with one win, one draw, one loss, and four points, still in contention for a semifinal spot.
