The Thai League match at Rayong FC's home ground became one of the season's biggest turnarounds as the home side, Rayong FC, fell behind by two goals but rallied to score five unanswered goals, thrilling fans with a 5-2 win over Port FC, earning three crucial points and making history by beating the Singha Chao Tha in the top division for the first time.

Just six minutes into the game, Port FC took an early lead with a beautiful left-footed curling shot from Suphanan Burirat that curled into the near post. Then Noboru Shimura added a second goal for the visitors, pushing the lead to 2-0.

However, Rayong refused to give up easily. At the 30th minute, Jo Afonso scored to reduce the deficit to 1-2, and just two minutes later, Seksan Ratri quickly followed up to equalize 2-2.

The game turned at the 34th minute when Stênio Júnior scored to put Rayong ahead 3-2. Within just four minutes, the team that had been trailing took control of the match.

A pivotal moment came in the 41st minute when Port FC defender Asnawi Mangkualam committed a handball in the penalty area, earning a red card and a penalty for Rayong. Stênio Júnior calmly converted the spot-kick, extending Rayong’s lead to 4-2 before halftime.

In the second half, with a numerical advantage, Rayong controlled the game until injury time at 90+6 minutes when substitute Thanyaphisit Hempandan scored the final goal, sealing a comprehensive 5-2 victory for the Black Stallions.

This win lifted Rayong FC to 24 points, moving up to sixth place in the standings and boosting their confidence. Meanwhile, Port FC suffered a painful defeat after leading by two goals but failing to maintain their advantage.
