Official release of the latest world ranking for the "Thai National Team" following the announcement of the FIFA rankings in January 2026.
On 19 January 2026, the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) officially announced the men's football world rankings for January 2026. The Thai national team holds the 96th position worldwide and is ranked 16th in the Asian continent.
Previously, in December 2025, Thailand was also ranked 96th globally, currently holding a cumulative score of 1243.27 points, unchanged from the last ranking. The new ranking update followed the African Cup of Nations tournament held in January, while the Thai team had no matches scheduled in December and January.
The senior Thai men's national football team is scheduled to hold a training camp during the FIFA international window in March 2026. They will compete in the 6th match of Group D in the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers against Turkmenistan on 31 March 2026. Further details regarding the venue and match time will be announced later. The next FIFA ranking update will be released on 1 April 2026.
