
Coca-Cola organized a football clinic titled “Enhancing Youth Skills, Building Thailand's Football Future” as part of the FIFA WORLD CUP™ TROPHY TOUR BY COCA-COLA campaign, supporting 100 Thai youths to realize their dreams of becoming professional footballers.
Bangkok, 24 Jan 2026 GMT+7 – The Coca-Cola business group in Thailand, including Thai Namthip Corporation Public Company Limited, Hadthip Public Company Limited, and Coca-Cola (Thailand) Co., Ltd., in partnership with the Football Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage, held the football clinic “Enhancing Youth Skills, Building Thailand's Football Future” at Chulalongkorn University Stadium. This event was part of the FIFA WORLD CUP™ TROPHY TOUR BY COCA-COLA campaign, which brought the authentic FIFA World Cup Trophy to display in Bangkok. The clinic gave Thai youth footballers the chance to learn skills from world-class players, inspiring their dreams to become professional footballers.
The event gathered 100 talented football youths aged 13 to 19 to train with Gilberto Silva, 2002 FIFA World Cup™ champion and FIFA Legend, alongside Kawin Thamsatchanan, goalkeeper coach of the Thai national team. Participants included 20 outstanding youth players from the Hadthip Youth Cup in the South and 80 youths selected through the Football Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage from clubs such as Buriram United, Port FC, and Muangthong United, supported by Thai Namthip, as well as youth from Chulalongkorn University’s team.

Training focused on professional-level fundamentals, including advanced ball control skills, various strategies, and fostering a champion mindset essential for competing on the global football stage. Youth practiced skills across different stations as follows:

Kawin Thamsatchanan, legendary goalkeeper of the Thai national team and currently a youth development coach, co-led training alongside Gilberto Silva as a mentor for the participating youths. He said, “Coaching 100 talented Thai youth footballers with FIFA World Cup champion Gilberto Silva today is a rare opportunity for both the youths and all of us. Seeing them absorb world-class techniques and the mindset of a champion is invaluable. These youths have outstanding talent and strong determination.
