A football coach performed CPR, saving the life of a Thai footballer who experienced breathing difficulties.
On 6 Feb 2026, “Coach Uod” Anukul Kanayon, former goalkeeper coach of Police Tero and now with Kasetsart FC in Thai League 2, performed CPR to save a young Thai man who began struggling to breathe after playing football.
Coach Uod successfully kept the player alive with initial CPR and quickly took him to the hospital.
Coach Uod posted on Facebook, “He survived. He walked over and sat next to me even though we didn’t know each other. He sat down and said, ‘I can’t take it anymore,’ three times. Following my instincts, he is okay now.”
Netizens praised Coach Uod for saving a fellow human being’s life despite never having met before.
Currently, Kasetsart FC is ranked 12th in the Thai League 2 standings with 27 points from 21 matches.
