Recently, it was confirmed that the contract between Pathompong and Buriram United has not been terminated. However, "Mickey Sai Fah" has been told to train separately from the first team since after Buriram United's 6-0 home win over Dynamic Herb Cebu, pending negotiations regarding various issues.
Previously, the Thunder Castle club offered a new contract to Pathompong, but discussions and agreement on the terms have not yet been finalized.
Pathompong Charoenrattanapirom transferred from Port FC and was unveiled as a Buriram United player in July 2025. He has appeared in only 14 games for the Thunder Castle, totaling 393 minutes, and has yet to contribute any goals.
