Persib Bandung Coach of Indonesian Club Reacts Immediately After Fans Plan to Confront Ratchaburi

The Persib Bandung coach criticized Indonesian fans for running onto the football pitch, causing disorder and harming the team.

On 19 Feb 2026 GMT+7, following Ratchaburi FC's 0-1 away loss to Persib Bandung (3-1 aggregate over two legs) in the AFC Champions League 2 2025/26 season, Persib Bandung advanced to the quarterfinals.

However, during the match, Persib Bandung fans caused disturbances throughout, including throwing objects onto the field and running onto the pitch after the game trying to reach the players' dressing room but were stopped by security guards.

After the match, Bojan Hodak, Persib Bandung's coach, spoke about the fans causing chaos on the field and its negative impact on the team.

“There may have been about 30,000 fans here, which is great, but there were a hundred who ruined everything.”

“We had one goal disallowed. Honestly, we had several chances, and if we had played with equal numbers, I believe we would have won and advanced.”

“Regarding the referees’ performance, unfortunately, I can’t comment fully—not just about the red card, but other issues too, although some I cannot say. The team will file a complaint with the AFC, which will likely investigate. However, the match result won’t change. Our team is out, but the main problem was in the first leg where we didn’t show our true performance. From now on, we must refocus.”
