Bat Fire Commander Expresses Concern Over Teams Situation, Calls for Quick Return to Form in Thai League

The 'Bat Fire' commander admits the team's situation is worrying, showing signs of a relegation battle cycle. He calls on players to quickly regain their top form and is accelerating the search for a head coach.

Updates on the 'Bat Fire' Sukhothai FC after 21 matches: the team is 12th with 21 points. The club is currently seeking a new head coach to take charge and create a turning point, as they have failed to secure a win in the last five games.

Recently, Dr. Anongwan Thepsutin, president of Sukhothai FC, acknowledged, "The team's situation is quite concerning because we are trying to avoid repeating previous seasons, where we had to fight to avoid relegation. During training before matches, I’ve seen everyone practicing intensely and fully, but when playing matches, the performance does not reflect the training. However, I have not blamed anyone; instead, I encourage the players and tell them, ‘Please recover and bring back your best form quickly.’"

"Currently, I have assigned team manager Khetphong Kulnatsiri to discuss with the staff, and I understand they are considering selecting a professional-level coach suitable for the team. We must accept that the new head coach will have a tough job because the team needs to create a turning point in match performance."

"The new head coach must work hard, facing the major task of quickly restoring every player's top form. He must also adjust the style of the new foreign players to fit Thai League play swiftly, while devising tight strategies for every game. We expect to at least secure 3 points in home matches."

"I want to thank Sukhothai FC fans who continue to follow and support us, despite the team's current underwhelming performance. I understand the fans' disappointment and their decision to stop cheering. I admit that the lack of cheers affects the players' motivation on the field. The management is ready to make improvements to find a turning point to restore the team’s top form and bring back smiles and happiness to our fans as soon as possible."
