Mr. Sakon Responds Immediately After Being Accused of Embezzling Money from Mor Thongwitaya

Mr. Sakon Kliangprasert gave an interview after being accused of embezzling money from Mor Thongwitaya.

On 25 Feb 2026 GMT+7, Mr. Sakon Kliangprasert, who has officially left Mor Thongwitaya, announced he will coach the Phutthirangsipiboon team, also located in Chachoengsao province.

There have been rumors that Mr. Sakon embezzled money from Mor Thongwitaya, drawing fans' attention to the truth behind these claims.

Mr. Sakon said, "Some say I embezzled 7 million baht from Mor Thongwitaya to the South. I surely have only one million—that's my head. So, that's not true. They even offered to pay me 30,000 baht for fuel to go, but in the end, the event organizer said there was no money. I had to open boxes of donations and count coins and 20-baht notes. The young football players all got 20-baht bills. I bundled the money, giving each child bundles worth 1,000 baht. There were nearly 30 officials and about 20 children receiving money. Some got full pockets because it was all 20-baht bills. We distributed the money openly; the kids knew where the money came from."

"Why do Mor Thong's kids win football matches? Because they get bonuses. The kids even ask when the next match will be because they get paid. Some say I kept the money alone. After the 7 Colors event, nearly 1 million baht was donated. We bought a new six-wheeler truck for 550,000 baht and a van for 450,000 baht—two vehicles totaling 1 million baht. Today, every child rides in good vehicles. The media is all around us; how could I keep money secretly? People around me got angry and wanted rescue workers and caretakers to check my bank account to see if anyone transferred money to me."
