Mon Thong Wittaya has officially appointed a new coach to replace A. Sakon, announcing the introduction date.
On 25 February 2026, B Bangpakong, a well-known Thai football columnist, revealed that Mon Thong Wittaya School, famous for finishing as runners-up in the 7-a-side student football and champions of the 7-Color Sports, has appointed a new coach to replace A. Sakon Kliangprasert.
B Bangpakong stated, "Coach Jun Anurak Srikead, former head coach of the Thailand U19 national team and BG Pathum United, is set to be introduced as the new head coach of Mon Thong Wittaya School in Bang Nam Priao District, Chachoengsao Province. He will replace the former coach, A. Sakon Kliangprasert, who will move on to coach at Putthirangsipiboon School in Ban Pho District."
"Reports reveal that Mon Thong’s management leveraged close ties, sharing the Muslim faith with Coach Jun. They communicated during the Hajj pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia, inviting Coach Jun to join and assist with the Mon Thong team."
"Unless there are changes, Coach Jun is scheduled to be officially introduced at Mon Thong Wittaya School on Saturday, 28 February."
