The Mon Thong Wittaya Football Alumni Club issued a statement in response after Coach Sakol Kliangsrasert addressed all issues following their separation.
On 26 Feb 2026 GMT+7, after Coach Sakol Kliangsrasert left Mon Thong Wittaya to take charge at Phutthirangsee Phibun School, he confirmed during a press event for the film "The Coach: Dream Carrier" that the split with the team was due to leaked audio clips criticizing individuals in Mon Thong Wittaya. He firmly denied any embezzlement, stating he consistently provided money to the children and involved staff.
Recently, Mr. Wichian Samanmitr, Vice President of the Mon Thong Wittaya School Football Alumni Club, confirmed that a joint press conference with Coach Sakol will be held to clear up all issues and bring closure.
"Today, no statements will be made yet. I have spoken with the coach and there was never any mention of Coach Sakol negatively. We intend to resolve everything amicably," he said.
Meanwhile, the Facebook page 'Here at Paed Riew' posted: "Announcement from Coach Sakol: From now on, no more media statements. He will focus on building the team and preparing the children, not looking back at past issues. It's over..."
