Attakorn Sirilattayakorn points to a cycle as Ajarn Sakon Kliangprasert resigns from Mon Thong Wittaya, touching on the issue amid embezzlement rumors.
On 26 Feb 2026 GMT+7, Attakorn Sirilattayakorn, Member of Parliament for Chachoengsao District 2 from the Kla Party and Minister of Tourism and Sports, spoke about Ajarn Sakon Kliangprasert’s resignation as the football coach of Mon Thong Wittaya School. He said it is a cycle; no one stays forever, and he believes all football players have gained valuable experience from being guided by a well-known and beloved figure in Bang Nam Priao.
Although he has never directly intervened in the matter, he has supported it continuously from the start until success was achieved. Moving forward, he believes each athlete will choose their own life path. He confirmed there has been no political interference.
Regarding Ajarn Sakon’s transfer to Putthirangsee Phibun School in Ban Pho District, Chachoengsao Province, and whether this would cause conflict between the two schools, Attakorn believes the public can distinguish the facts and that what is past should remain so. Ajarn Sakon has performed miracles by leading Mon Thong Wittaya students to valuable experiences that many might not have had otherwise. Therefore, no problems are expected.
On rumors of embezzlement, Attakorn said it is unclear whether these allegations are true; he knows only that the issue has been discussed. He called for fairness toward the school, Ajarn Sakon, and the students on the Mon Thong Wittaya team.
