A. Sakon Kliangprasert bids farewell to Team Effect! "Mon Thong Wittaya" withdraws from Department of Physical Education football U16-U18.
On 2 Mar 2026 GMT+7, following A. Sakon Kliangprasert's departure from Mon Thong Wittaya, "Coach Jun" Anurak Srikerd has taken over as head coach. Meanwhile, coach Phon, nicknamed "Dream Carrier," is preparing to start a new chapter at Putthirangsee Phibun School, bringing along some players who will transfer with him.
Tae Warakorn chose to remain with Mon Thong Wittaya, emphasizing that it was his own decision made wholeheartedly with no one influencing him, as he has already made a final commitment with his parents. He does not want to repeat his experience of repeating grade 10. Initially, he considered following the coach because he thought it was necessary to maintain his "Port FC contract."
Most recently, "Mon Thong Wittaya" announced its withdrawal from the Department of Physical Education school football competition 2025 in the under-16 and under-18 categories.
However, the under-14 team continues to compete and has successfully advanced to the next round, remaining the club's only hope in this year's tournament.
Regarding the reason for the withdrawal, Udon Prathetsingh revealed it was due to the player list submitted by Mon Thong Wittaya school being unchangeable, and some players on that list had already followed A. Sakon to another team.
