"Coach Joon" Anurak Srikerd clearly answers all questions before preparing to take charge of "Mon Thong Witthaya" following "Ajarn Sakon Kliangprasert" from the coaching position.
On 2 Mar 2026 GMT+7, "Coach Joon" Anurak Srikerd answered all questions ahead of his upcoming role as head coach of "Mon Thong Witthaya," succeeding Ajarn Sakon Kliangprasert. This was discussed on the program "Clear Rim Sen," hosted by "Jay" Worapat Arunpakdee, with "Bubble" Yingrak Raksuwan and "Too goat tv" Kritsana Phayung joining to share their views, along with "Coach Joon" Anurak Srikerd himself, the new prospective head coach of Mon Thong Witthaya School, who joined the program by phone.
Coach Joon Anurak Srikerd revealed, "What I initially knew was that Ajarn Sakon Kliangprasert would work until 31 March. I couldn't sign beforehand because it overlapped with his tenure. Later, I learned he would leave before that date. We are happy to step in and help. Honestly, he didn't contact only me before. I once told him he didn't have to wait for me alone—if he had a team ready and could reduce expenses, he could choose freely. I'm fine with that because I know the budget here, which is very different from clubs—about four to five times less."
"Regarding comparisons between me and Ajarn Sakon, we are just continuing to help with the kids after him. I think we have very different approaches. He is a senior from Debsirin School and has always performed well wherever he is. The comparisons causing drama don't really affect me because I don't read social media much. I can handle the pressure, but those around me are aware of it."
"I don't intend to swoop in or capitalize on his fame. Honestly, we want to help care for the students because at this age, discipline is crucial. We worry they might stray. We aim to support them since academics and football must go hand in hand. However, I have conditions—I can't fully immerse myself or stay overnight. A team will manage daily care. I admit I rarely watched the Seven Color Football Tournament before or followed Mon Thong Witthaya or their players much—only perhaps when facing Debsirin School. I hardly know anyone. So, I don't want to take advantage of the situation. Honestly, many have advised me against it, but I just want to help."
