Thailand National Team Coach Anthony Hudson Responds to Rumors About Jonathan Khemdees Possible Exclusion Against Turkmenistan

Anthony Hudson, head coach of the Thailand national football team, gave an interview regarding the rumors that Jonathan Khemdee might not be included in the squad against Turkmenistan.

On 11 March 2026, Anthony Hudson, head coach of the Thailand national team, spoke before announcing the 23-player squad for the home match against Turkmenistan on 31 March at 7:00 p.m., which will be broadcast live on Thairath TV Channel 32.

"Suphanat Muentata, who was injured yesterday, I have already spoken with his club. I don’t want to go into details yet, but it is unfortunate. He is an amazing player, but we have to wait for further injury assessment."

When asked about Jonathan Khemdee amid rumors he might not make the Thailand squad, Hudson replied, "The squad announcement will be tomorrow. This question is fair and a good one."

"The official squad announcement is tomorrow. Both myself and Coach Wang know exactly the quality of players like Yotsakorn. First, I have been following him closely. He is a talented player who has made great progress in his skills. I am very impressed with him."

"It is true that gathering information about Turkmenistan is very difficult, but we continuously try to find data. Anyone who can provide support is welcome. From my perspective, looking at both the overall picture and individual players, there should be no problems."
