Yotsakorn Boorapha withdraws from the Thai national team as fans hope for Teerasilp Dangda's comeback to face Turkmenistan on 31 March.
On 25 March 2026, the Thai national team is set to play Turkmenistan in the final Group D match of the Asian Cup 2027 qualifiers on 31 March. The game will be broadcast live on Thairath TV Channel 32, www.thairath.co.th/tv/live, Facebook: Thairath TV www.facebook.com/ThairathTV, Thairath Sport www.facebook.com/ThairathSport, and YouTube: Thairath Sport. Kickoff is at 19:30 from Rajamangala Stadium.
However, Yotsakorn Boorapha has officially withdrawn from the Thai national team due to knee ligament inflammation, despite recently being called up to replace the injured Suphanat Mueanta.
As a result, Anthony Hudson, head coach of the Thai national team, has had to find a new replacement and has called up Teerasilp Dangda to join the squad.
This call-up marks Teerasilp's first inclusion in the 23-man War Elephants squad since June 2024, when he last played in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
