Coach Jun Opens Up on Why Mon Thong Wittaya Was Defeated Nearly 20-0, Insists They Must Start Over

"Coach Jun" opens up about why "Mon Thong Wittaya" suffered a crushing defeat, conceding nearly 20 goals, and insists they must start again from zero.

On 24 Mar 2026 GMT+7, "Coach Jun-Anurak Srikerd" revealed the truth on the program "Kid Side Khong" after the "Mon Thong Wittaya" team was hammered with nearly 20 goals over the past two matches.

Coach Jun disclosed that the team had no players in the U18 category at all. Only "Tae," the eldest in the U17 group, was present, while the core players were mostly U15 and U16 players who had to step up to play above their age group, which he saw as an opportunity for the youngsters to develop.

Due to the physical maturity gap and toughness at the higher competitive level, the team could not withstand the opponents’ strength throughout the game, leading to the wide score difference witnessed.

Coach Jun also recounted an impressive moment involving "Tae," who clearly demonstrated leadership and dedication to the team. Despite the team conceding 10 goals, Tae approached the coach and took responsibility, saying, "Coach Jun, can I go play midfield to help the younger players?"

It wasn’t just Tae alone; Coach Jun also praised all the young players. After the first half ended with a large deficit, the kids all looked at the coach with eyes full of questions, asking, "Coach, what should we do next?"

Although mistakes continued and the team conceded an additional four goals in the second half, Coach Jun saw a more important positive than the scoreboard: the open-hearted attitude of every player.
