On 26 March 2026, the Chang Suek Facebook page - Thailand national football team - shared a clip from the Thailand U23 dressing room after the first match of the CFA Team China International Youth Tournament Xi'an in Xi'an, People's Republic of China.
The match ended in a 2-2 draw between Thailand U23 and China U23. Thailand scored both goals in the first half through Jehanafi Mama and Chawanwit Saelao before China equalized in the second half. Meanwhile, Vietnam U23 drew 1-1 with North Korea U23, leaving all four teams with one point each.
However, during injury time before the end, both teams had one player each sent off with red cards due to an off-the-ball incident. For Thailand U23, it was Usamma Thiangkam, the left-back of Moroccan descent from PT Prachuap FC, while for China U23, it was Xian Zhi-Jian.
Usamma Thiangkam briefly apologized to his Thailand U23 teammates in the dressing room, saying, "I am sorry for what I did. I hope everyone will fight hard and secure a victory in the next match."
