
Tesaban Plukpanya won the Southern regional championship, accompanied by “Kanchana” as runner-up, advancing to the final round of the “Chang Junior Cup 2026.”
Updates on the Under-13 youth football competition, the “Chang Junior Cup 2026,” the premier tournament backed by “Chang Natural Mineral Water,” reinforcing its commitment to support football development. The tournament aims to nurture young talent and find Thailand’s top teams, awarding a “Most Talented Player” prize and two “Sportsmanship Awards” for outstanding skill and fair play, with winners earning the opportunity to experience a world-class event in England.
The second qualifying round of the “Chang Junior Cup 2026” took place in the Southern zone from 8 to 11 April 2026 at Songkhla’s Prince of Songkla University football field, featuring 36 teams. The final match was honored by Khun Pornchai Anaman, Event Manager of Region 8 at Chang International Co., Ltd., alongside Khun Akkakrai Mahasri, President of the Hat Yai Sports Development Association, who attended the competition and presented awards.
The final saw “Kanchana Forest” face “Tesaban Plukpanya School Under Royal Patronage,” the three-time defending Southern champions. The reigning champions, Tesaban Plukpanya School, showcased excellent form, defeating Kanchana Forest 4-1 to claim their fourth Southern zone title, receiving trophies and scholarships. Kanchana Forest, a newcomer to the tournament this year, finished as runners-up. Both teams earned the right to compete in the national finals against top youth clubs from across Thailand, vying for the exclusive prize of a world-class experience in England.
The “Chang Junior Cup 2026” is supported by the Football Association of Thailand under the Royal Patronage, Leicester City Football Club, Butroom Co., Ltd. (producer and distributor of the ARI sportswear brand), and Molten (Thailand) Co., Ltd., all collaborating to develop and elevate Thai football on the international stage.
The next qualifying round for the “Chang Junior Cup 2026” in the Central zone will be held from 24 to 26 April 2026 at Ratchaburi Stadium, Ratchaburi Province. The Northern zone will open team registrations from 20 to 24 April 2026, accepting 36 teams, with matches scheduled from 1 to 3 May 2026 at Alpine Golf Resort in Chiang Mai.
