Coach Sakol Kliangprasert opens up before leading Phutthirangsipiboon to compete in the 7 HD CUP, after previously guiding Monthong to the runner-up position in 2025.
On 7 May 2026 GMT+7, ahead of the 7 HD CUP 2026 kickoff, Coach Sakol Kliangprasert, head coach of Phutthirangsipiboon School, held a press conference to discuss the upcoming tournament.
In 2025, Coach Sakol led Monthong Wittaya to become the runner-up, sparking a viral sensation as fans flooded Suphachalasai Stadium.
Coach Sakol revealed, "After moving on from Monthong Wittaya, we didn't bring the school's name with us, but 70 to 80 percent of the players followed. I'm confident that the core players from last year's 7 HD CUP, who played in the under-18 category while only 16 years old, will perform well this year. We have about five months until the next 7 HD CUP, so we will be ready."
"This year, we have a new version of our dream transport vehicle—an upgraded model. It’s the old vehicle but has been thoroughly refurbished with a new engine from Japan. It took nearly three months to arrive, and now it's fully ready. This year, the second version of the dream transport will be more agile and safer."
