On 7 May 2026 GMT+7, after the first leg of the Shopee Cup 2025-26 semifinals, "Buriram United" from Thailand defeated Malaysia's "Johor Darul Ta'zim" 3-1. Guilherme Bissoli, the Lightning Castle striker, won the Shopee Player of the Match award.
