Nongbua Pitchaya FC Academy claimed their 4th Isan regional championship, accompanied by Best Academy as runner-up, both advancing to the national finals of the Chang Junior Cup 2026.
"Chang Natural Mineral Water" reaffirmed its commitment to supporting football by launching the under-13 youth football tournament, Chang Junior Cup 2026. This premier competition aims to develop young talent, selecting the best teams in Thailand, while awarding the "Most Talented Player" and two "Sportsmanship Awards". Winners will have the opportunity to experience a global football environment in England.
The fifth qualifying round of Chang Junior Cup 2026 was held in the Northeast zone from 8 to 10 May 2026 at Chang Training Ground in Buriram Province, featuring 49 teams. The final match was honored by the presence of Mr. Chaisri Ra-wang, representative of Chang Natural Mineral Water from Chang International Co., Ltd., along with distinguished guests who attended the event and presented awards.
The final match featured Nongbua Pitchaya FC Academy, third place in 2019 and three-time qualifier champions, against newcomer Best Academy from Buriram. This year, Nongbua Pitchaya FC Academy maintained superior form, defeating Best Academy 2-0 to claim their fourth Northeast zone title, receiving trophies and scholarships. Best Academy earned runner-up honors. Both teams qualified for the national finals to compete with top youth clubs across Thailand for the exclusive prize of a global experience trip to England.
Chang Junior Cup 2026 is supported by the Football Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage, Leicester City Football Club, Butroom Co., Ltd. (manufacturer and distributor of Ari sportswear), and Molten (Thailand) Co., Ltd., collaborating to develop and elevate Thai football to international standards.
The final qualifying round of Chang Junior Cup 2026 for the Bangkok and metropolitan zone will take place from 19 to 24 May at the ThaiBev Football Academy.
