A new dimension in presenting the Thai League championship with an honorary vehicle parade celebrating Buriram United's 11th title.
An impressive night of honor as the Thai League champion was grandly driven into the stadium. BYD, the main sponsor of the BYD SEALION 6 LEAGUE 1 competition, created a special moment for Thai football by leading the championship trophy parade with the BYD SEALION 6 DM-i, the car sharing the competition's name, entering Chang Arena amid enthusiastic cheers from Buriram United fans welcoming this historic evening.
A key highlight of the celebration was the appearance of “Champion” Siwarak Tesungnoen, Buriram United’s legendary former goalkeeper nicknamed “Mr. Champions,” who has won over 36 titles with the club, including being the first player to win the Thai League 10 times.
The BYD SEALION 6 DM-i procession slowly moved in front of the stadium amid blue flags, fan cheers, and a festive atmosphere, before Siwarak opened the sunroof and stood up holding the championship trophy high above his head, portraying a proud moment for Buriram United and their supporters throughout the stadium.
Every moment of the champion’s procession was continuously captured on film, from the seconds the vehicle began circling the stadium to the crucial moment of passing the championship trophy into the ceremony inside. This transformed the journey of the prestigious trophy into a “Champion Experience” that fans could partake in from start to finish of the celebration.
Meanwhile, Khun Wongsakorn Praprapha, CEO of Rêver Automotive Group, said football is a sport that brings people together, and BYD wants to be part of that energy through supporting Thailand’s top league.
