Mon Thong Witthaya issued an apology to Pathumkongka regarding a player hanging their flag on his foot, a behavior deemed inappropriate.

On 20 May 2026, Mon Thong Witthaya School recently defeated Pathumkongka School 3-1 in the Black Hunter High School Premier League.

However, many noticed that a Mon Thong Witthaya player hung Pathumkongka's school flag on his foot, which was considered inappropriate.

Mon Thong Witthaya has since issued a public apology and disqualified the player from competition.

Following the incident shared online on 19 May 2026, it was revealed that a club member displayed severely inappropriate behavior toward Pathumkongka School, causing distress and dissatisfaction among all involved parties.

On behalf of the Mon Thong Witthaya Alumni Football Club, we acknowledge the sensitivity and emotional significance of this matter and sincerely apologize to those affected by the incident.

The club firmly condemns the act and commits to strict disciplinary measures against the offender, as outlined below.

  1. The offender has been removed from all current competitions, including the Black Hunter High School Premier League.
  2. The player is banned from participating in any competitions for one year.
  3. The player must produce a video apologizing to all parties involved.
  4. A formal warning will be issued, and the player's behavior will be assessed, which may lead to removal from the club.
