BYD is advancing its support for Thai football dreams through the “Football Clinic BYD Drive the Dream” project, bringing 264 young people to experience a special football event at Rajamangala National Stadium.
As an official sponsor of the Thai national football team, BYD continues to inspire through the “Football Clinic BYD Drive the Dream” project, inviting 264 youths aged 7 to 14 to a special football experience at Rajamangala National Stadium on 30 May 2026 GMT+7.
Participants came from Bang Kapi Recreation Center, Lat Krabang Recreation Center, Prasat Wittaya School in Singburi Province, Saphan Sung Recreation Center, volunteer coaches from the Wang Thonglang Expressway Underpass, Laksi Recreation Center, Wat That Thong Recreation Center, and Khlong Toei Youth Center.
During the event, youth trained football skills professionally with “Coach Wang” Thawatchai Damrong-Ongtrakul, former Thai national player and head coach of the Thailand U-23 men's team, along with coaching staff. The activities covered ball control, passing, movement, and teamwork to enhance skills, confidence, and inspiration. There was also a special moment for the youth to meet Thai national players “Jay” Chanathip Songkrasin, “New” Peeradon Chamratsamee, and “Ice” Kampol Pathomakkakul, who shared inspiration and created memorable experiences with the participants.
“Jay” Chanathip Songkrasin said he was delighted to see the children smiling and having the chance to play on a national-level field, believing that this small experience today could become an important motivation for many children to pursue their dreams in the future.
“New” Peeradon Chamratsamee added that football is not just about competition but also teaches discipline, effort, and teamwork, which are important values for all children.
Meanwhile, “Ice” Kampol Pathomakkakul encouraged all the young participants to believe in themselves and enjoy every moment of playing football, as every dream begins with taking action.
Another key highlight of the “Football Clinic BYD Drive the Dream” project was BYD’s donation of football cleats and sports equipment to the youth to support their skill development and help realize their future dreams.
Mr. Jirasak Chuenarom, Managing Director of Revere Automotive Co., Ltd., said, “The ‘Football Clinic BYD Drive the Dream’ project was born from the commitment of BYD and Revere Automotive to grow and give back sustainably to Thai society. We see football as an accessible sport for Thais and an important platform for youth to learn, develop skills, and get closer to their dreams.”
This event focused not only on football training but also combined sports skill development, inspiration, and opening new perspectives for youth. The children learned from professional coaches and had the chance to get close to Thai national players. We believe these experiences will empower and build confidence for their futures.
At the same time, as an innovation-driven organization for the future, we want to promote ideas about clean energy, future technologies, and sustainable social development, so youth can see that the future world is full of new opportunities, and BYD is ready to be the driving force helping everyone move toward their dreams.”
The “Football Clinic BYD Drive the Dream” project marks an important step for BYD in developing Thai football by supporting youth, inspiring them, and providing sports opportunities. BYD plans to continue delivering new activities and experiences to drive Thai football forward in all dimensions continuously in the future.
